Here’s a Story for You!
I’m Butch Hartman. I’m just a guy from Michigan who fell in love with cartoons, movies and comic books when I was a kid. At the age of 18, I made my way to Hollywood and dove into the entertainment industry head first.
After many years of struggle, learning the hard way and essentially growing up, I became a multiple Emmy nominee who has now worked professionally in the Hollywood entertainment industry for over three decades. I created some of the most successful animated television shows in history: THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS, DANNY PHANTOM, TUFF PUPPY and BUNSEN IS A BEAST!
Every facet of the entertainment industry is familiar to me. I’ve directed and produced shows, performed as both a voice-over director and a voice actor. I’ve designed hundreds of characters, written dozens and dozens of scripts for both TV and movies, directed and drawn storyboards and written the theme songs for each of my shows. In addition, I have had many successful, high-level ‘pitch meetings’ with studios like Nickelodeon, Disney, Netflix, Sony and more.
In the media realm I’ve started several successful YouTube channels and built a huge social media following on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. I started and continue to run my own production companies, produce my own podcasts and publish my own books.
