Created Anything Lately?
Where does creativity come from and what are you supposed to do with it? I have been asked this question or something close to it, many, many times. I have heard statements anywhere from: “Creativity is a waste, you can’t make a living with it” to “My creativity is just for fun, I have a REAL job.”
Often we can get stuck thinking that being creative is someone else’s job, but that’s where we’re wrong. Being creative is OUR job. If you are a creative person, it’s YOUR job because you’re filled with great purpose and potential given to you by God. The fact is, as creative as you are, not one single person will ever know what you have to offer until you begin making it a reality.
Your creativity is completely and totally at your disposal. All you have to do is take a step toward your future, but this is where most of us get hung up. We don’t know HOW to take that step. Today I’m hoping my new book, Christian Creativity: How to Make Money Using Your God-Given Gift will give you the wisdom and insight you need to get started.
As a fellow creative, I am asking you—practically begging you—not to let your creativity go to waste. So many great things come from creativity. Not only can you change YOUR life with it, you can change the lives of those around you, maybe even more lives than you ever dreamed of.
